Terms of use

1. Who we are
Cultura Club is a marketplace for team experiences in London. Companies use it to find and book experiences from vetted partners, the venues and experience partners who deliver them.
Cultura Club is operated by Cultura Club Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17123340 and its registered office at 46 Princess May Road, London, England, N16 8DG. You can contact us at hello@cultura-club.com.
Cultura Club runs the marketplace: we list the experiences, take the booking and handle the payment. The experience itself is provided by the partner, not by Cultura Club.
These terms are the agreement between you and Cultura Club for using the marketplace. By using the site, or by submitting a booking request, you accept them. If you are using Cultura Club for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.
2. Using Cultura Club
You need an account to book an experience. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
The information you give us must be accurate and up to date, and you must use the marketplace lawfully.
- Do not use Cultura Club for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent.
- Do not submit a booking request you do not intend to honour.
- Do not harass, threaten or discriminate against partners, their staff or our team.
- Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or to anyone else’s account.
- Do not copy or scrape the site, its listings or its content without our permission.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used in a harmful or unlawful way. We will tell you if we do, unless the law or an investigation means we cannot.
3. Booking an experience
When you find an experience you like, you submit a booking request. The price is fixed and shown to you before you submit it. There is no quote step and there is no custom pricing.
Submitting a request does not charge your card. We authorise it, which means the money is held but not taken. We capture the payment only when the partner accepts your booking.
- The partner has 24 hours to respond to your request.
- Partners connected to our Bookable integration confirm instantly, with no approval step.
- If the partner accepts, the booking is confirmed and we capture the payment.
- If the partner rejects the request, or it expires, we release the hold and nothing is charged.
Once the partner accepts, you have a confirmed booking. The partner is responsible for delivering the experience as it was described when you booked.
We may refuse or cancel a request in rare cases, for example if a listing contained an error or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we release the hold and nothing is charged.
4. Payments and fees
The price you see is the price you pay. We show it before you submit your request, and it does not change afterwards.
Cultura Club charges the partner a 10% platform fee, taken from the partner’s share of the booking. The fee is not added to your price, and it is not charged to you separately.
Cultura Club is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. We cannot issue VAT invoices. If we register for VAT in future, VAT will be added on top of our prices rather than absorbed into them, and these terms will be updated.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Cultura Club does not store your full card number. Stripe’s processing fees are absorbed by Cultura Club and are not passed on to you or to the partner.
Your card is authorised when you submit a request and captured only when the partner accepts. If the request is rejected or expires, the hold is released: see section 3.
5. Changes and cancellations
You can cancel a booking from your account. Before you confirm the cancellation, we show you how much you will get back.
- Cancel 7 or more days before the event: we refund the partner’s full share.
- Cancel from 3 to 7 days before the event: we refund 50% of the partner’s share.
- Cancel inside 3 days, or do not turn up: no refund.
Refunds come out of the partner’s 90% share of the booking. Cultura Club’s 10% platform fee is not refundable once the partner has accepted your booking, whatever the reason you cancel. The one exception is when the partner or Cultura Club cancels the event, and we refund you in full.
Refunds go back to the card or other payment method you used.
If the partner rejects your request, or it expires after 24 hours, your card was only held. We release the hold and nothing is charged.
If the partner cancels a confirmed booking, we will help you rebook, or refund you in full if we cannot.
If you want to move a booking to another date, contact hello@cultura-club.com. Whether a change is possible depends on the partner’s availability.
Our Cancellation & refunds policy has the detail, including no-shows and when refunds arrive.
6. Partner responsibilities
Every partner and every listing is reviewed by the Cultura Club team before it goes live. Partners must keep their descriptions, availability and prices accurate and up to date.
Partners must hold appropriate insurance, and must respond to booking requests within 24 hours.
Partners deliver the experience. They must do so as described, on the date booked and to a professional standard, and they must comply with the law, including any licence their experience needs.
If a partner cannot deliver, they must tell us as soon as they know so that we can help you rebook or refund you in full.
Cultura Club is not the provider of the experience. We vet partners and list their experiences, but we do not deliver them and we do not control how a partner runs them.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable.
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of a partner. The experience is the partner’s responsibility.
We provide the marketplace for business use. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data.
We do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors, but we will use reasonable care and skill to keep it running.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
